First Aid Training Underway At Kingswood Prep

Pupils at Kingswood Prep have started learning more about how to respond to an emergency with each class being given an hour’s session on basic first aid training.
Years 1 and 2 have already had their sessions where they were learning what to do when coming across a casualty and following the ‘Dr ABC’ rules.
The rest of the year groups will be having them before Easter.
The children were shown how to assess the Danger, look for a Response, check the Airways, Breathing and administer CPR.
Each child was also given their very own Kingwood First Aid brochure complete with a MiniMedic certificate at the back.
A huge thank you to Sarah Hollingworth, Commercial Manager, for running such a fantastic and important aspect of the children’s education.
