Boarders Enjoy Trip To Wild Place Project
On Sunday, almost 30 boarders enjoyed a trip to the Wild Place Project where they saw many exotic animals and birds, including cheetahs, giraffes, lemurs and gelada baboons.
While half of the group explored the park, the other half challenged themselves by climbing obstacles, and completing a ‘leap of faith’.
A few students climbed to the top of a 10m wobbly pole, stood on one leg and then mustered the courage to jump off whilst secured by ropes, and other pupils enjoyed a high swing drop.
Lots of boarders pushed themselves outside of their comfort zones in order to complete climbing challenges despite their initial fears.
It was also great to see some of the resident staff families on the trip, making it a whole community outing, with ages ranging from 2-18 years.
