Biology Students Study Rocky Shore Ecology At Watchet
June 18th 2018
Last Tuesday, Year 10 pupils spent the day at Watchet studying rocky shore ecology.
Pupils completed a range of tasks throughout the day including; sampling the low, mid and top shore, recording the number of various invertebrate species, measured the percentage cover of the different seaweeds and calculating the growth rate of egg wrack.
The students enjoyed the day which was made even better by the wonderful weather and Head of Biology, Mrs Opie, has thanked the pupils for their hard work and good company throughout the day.
