We Are Kingswood - Jake - Year 5 Teacher

Continuing on with our #WeAreKingswood series, we spoke to Jake Whitby who will be joining the Prep School as a new Year 5 teacher this September.

Why do you love teaching?

Every day is different and there is fun and happiness to be had everywhere! I love being in an environment where everyone is always learning (children and adults) and getting to see children become more confident in who they are.

Tell us about your hobbies...

I love all sport, particularly rugby and netball. I enjoy anything outdoorsy and have a real passion for travelling.

If you couldn't be a teacher, what would you be?

A Formula 1 mechanic!

Favourite food? You can't beat a family Sunday roast.

The range of activities, the love of outdoors that KPS encourages and getting to know all the children and staff.
