Live Performances Return To The Kingswood Theatre

Before half term a small, socially distanced audience witnessed the welcome return of live performance to the Kingswood Theatre as the Year 12 A-Level Drama students performed their devised assessment.

Created in the style of acclaimed theatre company Kneehigh, the piece was a retelling of the Cornish legend ‘The Bay of The Dead’. In typical Kneehigh style the actors juxtaposed comedy with more poignant moments and used a mixture of audience interaction, poetry and slapstick to entertain the appreciative onlookers. 

It was, in the spirit of all the best Drama ‘well acted and short’ and the three performers – Ted, Avery and Mimi – played their parts with superb aplomb.
