Kingswood's Coronavirus Time Capsule
Senior School pupils are not letting Covid-19 stop their plans for a Summer term production.
With ‘An Evening With Roald Dahl’ postponed until the spring, Head of Drama Mrs Nash and Theatre Manager Mr Francis signed the School up to take part in ‘The Coronavirus Time Capsule’ – the brainchild of London-based youth group Company Three.
Over 200 schools and youth theatre are getting involved with this project – a way of capturing the thoughts and feelings of teenagers through during lockdown.
Each week, the group respond creatively to a different task, making their own videos and sending them in.
These are then edited together by Mr Francis and his talented team of ‘techies’.
The video for the week is released across the school’s social media pages every Friday and there will be a longer recording collated for a whole school production at the end of term.
