Netball Club Demonstrates Strong Team Performances Over Weekend Fixtures

On Saturday, the Netball Club had 21 fixtures including an extremely competitive block for the Juniors against Millfield Prep.

Pick of the Junior teams were the U3Ds who certainly found their groove.

Issy and Lily created innumerable interceptions and Crystal was the top goal scorer contributing to the 23-7 win.

Kingswood’s Senior teams had the better of the block fixture against Clifton College, with seven wins.

Some physical matches with some excellent netball on show.

The 15Bs celebrated a 15-10 win with a solid team performance.

The U15Cs continue their winning streak and Phia and Izzy proved instrumental in the 19-15 win.

However, Team of The Week are the 1st VII, who after narrowly losing the tournament last term,

 certainly turned it around on Saturday with a 35-29 win.

Maya was in good form, shooting from all angles and combining well with Bella.

Alice, Martha and Jess all fed the circle intelligently, the team improved their angles in attack and Nina and Katie disrupted Clifton’s attack and got numerous turnovers.
