Prep School Rugby Teams Enjoy Fixtures At Millfield And Monkton
Last Saturday, Year 4 travelled to Millfield School where they enjoyed a fantastic morning of rugby.
The challenge was to improve on their passing and teamwork skills over the course of the morning.
Throughout each match the children rose to the challenge as well as making some great tackles.
Congratulations to Adam, Harry, Lloyd, Tobias, Luke and Johnny, who performed excellently on the day.
On Monday, four matches were played as the Year 4 Rugby team visited Monkton to take part in the BIS Festival.
The targets were to move forward with the ball, as well as looking to pass before being tackled.
Lots of smiley, happy faces were on show, especially at the sight of chocolate cookies and squash at the end of the day.
The U10s had a choice of what to play on Wednesday as they were joined by King Edward's on the Upper; a couple of matches based on the U10 rules of play and one match working towards the U10 rules of play.
The improvement and progression of all the players on show, from both King Edward's and Kingswood, was clear to see and the ball was moved much more freely between players on both sides.
Well done to everyone who took part in a brilliant week of rugby.
