Prep Trips and Visits

Last Thursday, Year 1 pupils went to Bristol Aquarium and enjoyed their day visiting the different sea creatures they have been learning about in their topic lessons so far this term.

The pupils were shown around by the Aquarium guides who answered their questions and shared some incredible facts.

The children were given the opportunity to see all kinds of sea creatures including an octopus, sting-rays, snapping turtles, and an electric eel.

Year 1 then took part in a workshop and were given the chance to hold shark teeth and Mermaid’s Purses.

The Aquarium staff were impressed with the children’s enthusiasm and knowledge.

The pupils and staff enjoyed their time at Bristol Aquarium and would like to thank Bristol Aquarium for making it such a brilliant experience.
