Pupils Enjoy French Exchange In Toulouse
On the last day of term, an enthusiastic group of five Year 10 pupils set off to spend a week with their exchange partners from the Lycée Saint Sernin in Toulouse.
The group embraced the French way of life – speaking French to their partners and host families, experiencing lessons in a French school every morning, learning to bake chocolate macaroons with a professional chef, visiting the famous medieval fortress in Carcassonne as well as having breakfast in one of Toulouse’s most upmarket cafes ‘Café Bibent’.
Students also spent time at the Cité de l’escape and Aeroscopia (Airbus Museum) and got to climb aboard Concorde and try the flight simulator.
The group and their French partners and teachers also went bowling followed by a three course meal on their last night in the “Ville rose”.
Ms Taïbi, Head of French, would like to thank the group for their excellent company throughout the week and their wonderful sense of humour.
Ms Taïbi has also thanked Mr Edgell who accompanies the trip and was a great support throughout the week.
