Last Thursday, eight pupils from Year 8 travelled to the Oasis Academy in Bristol for Anti-Bullying Ambassador training day run by The Diana Award.

The morning started with a reminder of the humanitarian work undertaken by the late Princess Diana.

This was followed by a presentation describing how the charity has been set up to support young people who want to make a change in the world.

The group then played a nostalgic parachute game where they had to describe something about themselves that they were proud of.

Afterwards, the pupils split into separate teacher and student groups to discuss the different types of bullying and the impacts it can have on all involved parties.

After lunch, the pupils spent some time roleplaying scenarios and action planning for Kingswood anti-bullying campaigns.
