Year 6 Learn About The History Of Bristol
February 4th 2019
Year 6 went on a journey to explore Kingswood founder John Wesley’s first chapel, which is located in Bristol City Centre.
They also found out about the different aspects of Bristol’s history.
The group completed a worksheet in the museum of the New Rooms (John Wesley’s chapel) and also looked at the place where he used to hold services.
The children later split into two groups: one group went to M Shed where they learnt about Bristol’s history, while the other group went on a boat trip up the river and learnt about famous landmarks.
The children then swapped roles so they all had a chance to try each activity.
The three classes were very successful, learnt lots of facts and had loads of fun.
