Kingswood Pair To Represent England For Orienteering Competition

Last weekend, the British Sprint and Middle Distance Orienteering Championships took place at Bath University and Stock Hill on the Mendips respectively.

The Sprint Championships required runners to navigate the multi-levels of the university campus, with heats in the morning and the final later in the day. Jim and Oliver finished first and second respectively in their age groups.

Meanwhile, in the Middle Distance, which was held the next day, Lucy finished second.

Lucy and Jim have also been selected for the England team for the Junior Home Internationals which are being head near Pitlochery in Scotland in October.

Jim has also attended the Great Britain Talent camp during the summer and has now been selected as a full member of the Great Britain Talent Squad.
