Kingswood Celebrate Record GCSE/IGCSE Results

Students at Kingswood School are this week celebrating record GCSE/IGCSE results. With 42% A*or 9/8 and 68% A*/A or 9/8/7, students have scored impressively across both GCSE and IGCSE examinations.

42 individual students achieved at least 5 A* grades or equivalent.  Amongst many exceptional individual performances, the highest achievers with 11 A* or equivalent grades were Bridie, Henry, Ella and Numa; Eliza, Alexandra, Holly, Stephen, Edward, Alban, Charlotte, Jonathan, Ashish and Finlay each received 10 A* or equivalent grades.

Headmaster Simon Morris commented: ‘It is such a credit to these students and their teachers that, in a year where so many of these examinations were first-time through qualifications, they should achieve such exceptional record results.  With such strong foundations, they can move confidently onto Sixth Form study; we are certainly much looking forward to welcoming them back, to congratulating them and to working further with them over the next two years.’
