Cardiff Castle Comes To Kingswood Prep

On Wednesday there was great excitement in Year 2 as they had a virtual workshop led by Elizabeth from Cardiff Castle.

The workshop was fantastic – just like being there in person at the castle.

Elizabeth showed the class all types of helmets, armour and medieval weapons.

The children asked Elizabeth many questions about how the knights attacked and defended the castles and she told us some fascinating facts.

Did you know they used to catapult rotting dead animals into the castles to spread disease?

We would like to thank Elizabeth and Cardiff Castle for providing such a superb workshop – we feel very privileged to be the first school to experience this virtual workshop.
