U13 Cricket Team Make Great Progress At La Manga Resort In Spain

In the second week of the Easter holidays, Kingswood U13 cricketers attended an invitational tournament at La Manga resort in Spain.

This world class venue regularly hosts a range of first class and international teams, and the boys enjoyed the opportunity to develop their cricket skills in the impressive net facilities, specialist fielding areas and T20 matches against a range of school, club and academy teams from the UK.

All boys made significant progress but Will was particularly impressive in a new role as an opening batsman and Can was voted the most improved player, making runs in the final game and led to a victory which showed what this team is capable of at their best.

Mr Brown, Head of Boys’ Games, has thanked the boys for their good-humoured company, and Mr Gordon who stepped in as last minute replacement for Mr Reeman.
